Add ContainerLog to your Home Screen
Apple requires these steps in Safari. The website will keep working normally if you prefer not to install it.
- Tap the Share button in Safari.
- Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.
Scanning a sticker
Tap Scan sticker and point the camera at a sticker. The app detects automatically: if the sticker hasn't been logged yet, a form opens to add a description and photo. If it's already logged, the form opens with the existing details ready to edit.
Adding a photo
Tap Add photo in the entry form to take or choose a picture of the contents. The photo is saved alongside the description and shown when you look the sticker up later.
Expiry dates & reminders
Enter a number and choose days, weeks, months, or years. ContainerLog calculates the expiry date from the container's original entry date. If you change the duration later, it still uses that original date—not the edit date.
Choose when you want to be reminded. ContainerLog will ask for notification permission, but the container still saves if notifications are unavailable or declined. Tapping a reminder opens the relevant container.
On iPhone or iPad, notifications require ContainerLog to be added to the Home Screen first.
Installing ContainerLog
The website works without installation. On supported Android and desktop browsers, use Install ContainerLog when it appears. On iPhone or iPad Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Editing & deleting
Tap any row in the list or scan a logged sticker to open it — the form is immediately editable. To delete, tap Delete — it turns red and asks you to tap again to confirm.

The search bar filters by description text or sticker number as you type.
Type instead of scan
Can't scan? Type a sticker number into the manual entry box and tap Go.
Previous entries
The dropdown above the description box remembers everything you've typed before.
